widest tire on 2G Camry?

I am wondering what is the widest tire you can fit under a 2g base model. I am thinking of trying to source a set of 17x7 or 17x7.5's ~45 positve offset, and run a 215/45/17 tire. Possible? Will I be rubbing? If so, where and under what conditions?

And what is the offset of the stock wheels on a 4cyl base model with 14" wheels??

If you have lost your owners manual, dl a new one or maybe just email toyota with this question. Personally i would not use any wheel or tire size they say not to, this is from painful expereince.

you can run 215/45/17 but +45 isn't gonna cut it... you might have to go lower +35 or something

I run 215/45/17 with a 17x7 +45 rim.
