You don't need to remove the guages from the cluster. You just need to take off the clear plastic cover (theres a few screws). Then you need to take off the black plastic trim piece that sits on top of the guages.

The indiglo guages just simply slip over the needles. Get some 3M double sided scotch tape and put a bunch of little pieces on the backside of the glow guages, especially around the area where it goes over the needle. The tape will hold down the glow guages and prevent them from bubbling up and rubbing on the needles.

Theres just 2 wires for the guages. +12V and ground. Hookup the +12V to the parking light wire. You need to use a DMM and probe the wiring that plugs into the back of the guage cluster to find it.

Yeah.

Another thing is that they don't have reverse indiglos for the 4cyl. with a tach.

You have to buy the 4cyl. and V6 reverse indiglos cos their guages for the V6 has a tach. F**king ghey.

Shuluke, I know someone who's selling a V6 set, but it depends if you have a tach or not. They are selling the V6 with tach, originally purchansed from ProCarParts.

Menaboy64, an 87 Camry is a Gen2. To do the 4cyl 5speed version, you would need to get both the 4cyl version and the V6 version (for the tach). If you have a 4cyl automatic, then you would just need the 4cyl version by itself. The same contact that has the V6 version for sale also has the 4cyl for sale.

Drop me a email off list. I believe the guy is a regular on Toyotoanation. I speak to him often on the Camryman.org site.
