I was thinkin of swapping my stock 14" steelies for the stock 15" Celica steelies.....
Anybody out there know if that's possible....and what year of Celica would work with my Gen2?
thanx!
Any Celica from '86-'05 - so basically any 4th generation to 7th generation Celica wheels will work perfectly. I would look for GT-S wheels from the 7th gen.

Thanx for the info.......
I dont want to go crazy, I just want bigger steelies for increased handling. I dont want to have to worry about my rims getting jacked up by the new york city streets .....steelies are cheaper and more durable and low key..I like not standing out.......besides, for some reason, I love how steelies look with chrome lugs!

Almost true... the ST trim of the Celica was 4-lug. Any 5-lug Celica wheel from '87-'05 will work.
The stock 16" 7th gen Celica GTS wheels should be fine through all the potholes you can find... I bet you bend your suspension before the wheels (or at the same time! )

Old school!
Anyone know how wide the OEM GT-S steelies are?
O.T. somewhat, but the other day I was at the 'yota dealer looking in the back lot. They had a '99 Camry with 235/45/17's all the way around. The rims were nothing great and the tires were shot, but man, those things were w-i-d-e on that car and I loved the look.
15x6 i believe. cant fit much more than a 195 on them.
the '91 ish Celica that I saw was rockin' 205's...........hmmmm, interesting....and it looked stock.
Also did the GT-S even come with steelies?....I would think that such a model could only be had with the high-end package that included aluminums......just wondering
I've never seen a GT-S without aluminum alloys...so I would doubt that you will find any 15x6 steelies from the GT-S...maybe elsewhere though.
right....i did some research and found out that the GT-S Celicas came with 16" alloys wrapped in 205/50/16's.......the GT came with 15" alloys wrapped in 195/60/15's.......the base model could be had with the 15" steelies also with 195/60/15's.......
