Crap, where's the hose?

I wanted to remove the EGR valve for cleaning but that bottom bolt was too hard to get to. Then I saw this:

Is that hose important? I can see the clean and dirty difference on the stem. But alas, I just took out the EGR vaccum modulator's filter thing and it was too dirty to do anything...

This hose connects A/C air control valve to the A/C idle up solenoid valve. With A/C on, the solenoid opens, so the manifold vacuum pulls the diaphragm up, that in turn opens a passage around the throttle plate which increases the idle speed. The solenoid is located on the firewall near windshield wiper motor.
The EGR vac. modulator could have ruptured back pressure diaphragm. therefore the vacuum signal may never reach the EGR valve.
Autozone store sells the new one for $57. I got one from 89 Tercel (junk yard) and it works.

You have to connect this empty port to the idle up solenoid.
