88 AllTrac LE MT Axles.... What the Heck!

Picked up a Japan built manual AllTrac a few days ago. So now I',m going through it fixing all the neglected stuff. (The list is fairly large, but at least the running gear seems to be fairly tight)

The question is: What the heck is the part numbers for the replacement front axles on a manual AllTrac? All the parts sites I visit don't even list a manual transmission for the AllTrac. Would the axles be the same as the FWD manual trannies?

The other question is, which is better the center differential that has the lock button on the dash, or the one that is full time viscous style?

All Camry All-Trac axles should be compatible. None are compatible with 2wd axles (inner splines are different, passenger side is shorter).

Viscous center diff will be better for everyday driving, locking will be better for getting you out of tough situations.

How's the rust situation on that car? Want to sell it to me?
