91 camry bogs on acceleration

Here's the problem I have a 91 toyota camry 3s-fe 4cyl that my grandparents have given to me. They are the original owners and the car has 141k miles on it. So far, I have put a plugs, wires, cap and rotor and I have also loosened the fuel filter banjo nut to chech for pressure and have also checked for spark aswell. no when I first start the car it runs fine but when it warms up, it stalls and doesn't want to run and when it does run, it misses all the way to redline. Now so far I have also removed timing cover and checked the belt which is on time. Lastly, when I disconnect the TPS, the car Idle goes up and the car revs normally. what should I do next?

Could be the TPS has a problem. Download the details from the appropriate service manual at the link below. The manual has a proceedure to test the TPS.

What type of transmission is in the car?
Is the TP sensor three wire or four wire?
Is the engine bogs down only when car is in gear but rews free in the park?

Maybe a silly question, but what does TPS stand for? (where is it? and what does it look like?)

Could it still pass smog with a clogged cat?

It stands for throttle position sensor. It's a small sensor located on the outside of the throttle body, usually on the firewall side, that tells the ECU (computer) how far the throttle valve inside the throttle body is open.
