What is This and Can it be Fixed ... A few Pix

Today while getting ready to pull the front suspension I noticed these 3 or 4 problems under the hood and am not sure if they can be fixed or what some are for.

First Pic shows three issues on the passenger side of the engine bay near the firewall.
First the Green Boxed item. Looks like some mounting bracket for the wire harness which is broken, where should it be connected to, I can't find the broken off part?
Now to the Red Box. What is this item and is the vacuum hose connected correctly, looks like it just goes back on itself?
Lastly the Blue Box. This looks like a vacuum switch of some sort, it is missing a vacuum line on the top connector and the hose that is connected doesn't go to anything. What is this item and .... should it be connected in some fashion to the item in the Red Box?

Now on to the other side of the engine bay. I noticed this problem with the air intake side .... I am guessing this item performs a similar function as the MAF on my VW. Should the plastic cover be coming off like it is? It appears to have silicone sealant holding it in, and if it was correct, keeping it dry. Can I remove this black cover and clear out the old silicone and other debris and reinstall and silicone it?

The thing in the red box shouldn't be looped around to itself, it goes to the thing in the blue box, so you end up with two vacume tubes going inbetween these two which control the AC Idle up.

As for the wire clip, I wouldn't lose sleep over it, its just there to hold some wires up.

I'll try and get a pic of the vacume tubes connected properly so you know where to connect them.

Nice pictures and new power steering pressure hose
If the solenoid near wiper motor goes bad, the engine will bog down with a/c turned on, threfore some specialists are attaching hose like on your car to boost the idle .Unplug the solenoid and check it for continuity.

that is your mass air flow meter for the car, and underneath that black plastic cover is a circuit board which should not be getting wet/have moisture in it. If you can, yes, re-seal it. that airflow metre can be pricy to get new if it goes bad. But I got one from the junk yard for 40 dollars when I had an issue with mine. Can probably get one even cheaper at a u-pull-it junky yard....

Thanks for the help guys. I will leave the vacuum switch unplugged, but will check if it works, in case it is needed. A pic of how it should be connected with the hoses would be great, thanks Scribby.

As for the MAF ... I will attempt to repair it, no check engine light yet, but something got wetter than it should have the other day when I spray down the engine bay of all the greasy mess. I get my parts on eBay .... the parts yards here are at about 50% what they were before Katrina .... most of the best yards, including the import one, were in eastern NO and were wiped out. And I wonder about some pulls from other southern yards.

The P/S hose is not my work, but thanks for pointing it out, after reading about some of you having P/S hose issues, I am glad this one was already replaced. Lets hope I don't mess it up when I pull the timing belt to change the oil pump .... if that is where the oil leak is coming from.

Not to jack the thread, but does anyone know what the blue boxed part is called according to Toyota? Or better yet, a part number? Because every time I try to order it by calling it the VSV valve they get all confused then tell me it's some $200 which I know is BS.
