3SFE Replaced cam and crank seals, water pump and its gaskets...and still leaking oil

All I can tell is that it's coming out the bottom of the car. I can't tell where it's coming from, but it's a lot. Now that I've done the timing belt and everything inside, I'm seeing where the oil pump seals should've been done while I was in there? Is there anywhere else I should look?

I haven't replaced any that you have ... hopefully some of them were done by PO with TB changes ... but I have the same problem ... it is on my list of things to track down. I posted a pic on my suspension install thread, and folks mentioned Power Steering, mine has at least one new hose there, but I will check it also.

When you look under the car from the front passenger side, looking past the exhaust pipe there is a bolt that is sitting lower than anything else. That's where it's dripping from. I can't see ANY leakage from the top or front of the engine. I've got a picture that I'll put up soon.

Have you tried degreasing the whole engine? Makes finding oil leaks way easier.
There is also a dye you can put in your oil to find the leak.

When you did the seals for the timing belt area did you replace the oil pump spagetti seal?

No, it's not from the timing belt area as the drip is most definitely further toward the driver side. It's actually on the other side of the exhaust pipe from there. Here's the pic.

This is from the front/passenger corner of the car.

As for degreasing the entire engine...how would I do that with no lift?

I have the same type of oil leak, but mine is coming from the distributer?
Have you checked around there?

There is an oring which can leak, and also if theres oil in your distributer cap the distributer is leaking internally and needs to be rebuilt with new seals or just pull a dizzy from the junkyard.

Another area could be your valve cover?

I guess next weekend I'll pull the distributor and see. It's hard to see behind it, but there's no harm in checking.

Valve cover gasket is new and looks good.

If you have an oil cooler, some times the fitting below the filter leaks.

How would I know if it had an oil cooler and how would I trace the leak?

I don't know about the cooler ... I am sure if you know what you are looking for you should see the extra lines, usually run from near the filter, but that is on the front of the engine.

I would get it on ramps, wipe down all the dripping you have on the underside of everything, then wipe down the topside of all the crossmembers. Then you should be able to see where it is hitting the crossmember to find where the leak is above it ... what you have now gives us no idea since the oil can run down the crossmember from the source then drip from its lowest point.

This is true. Well, it's run-able for the moment. Have to get the Celica into the garage this weekend for a few things, then I'll get back to the Camry. I'll resurrect this thread at that time. Thanks a bunch guys.
