Everytime I use my left turn signal it squeals like a damn pig. No signal till it stops squealing. Any ideas?

Might try replacing the turn signal flasher unit.

Turn signal relay is located in the drivers side kick panel relay box. Should be the top relay in the box. The relay pulls out.

I got a new flasher from toyota, it doesn't squeal anymore but the left turn signal works randomly. Anyone ever change the switch in the steering wheel column for the turn signals?

Had Identical problem develop this past month, used some contact lube and clean from Radio Shack sprayed into stalk as I worked it back and forth. Now only occasionally makes noise ..... must have been dirty or corroded as you suspected. George in Wisconsin
