Look for the "used car research," then "compare," and put in year, make, etc....

When it comes up with the featueres list, just view all sections. I'm confident its information is 99% accurate.

Because when the needle is on E there is usually a couple of gallons left. I was only able to put about 12 in our 1990 2nd Gen also.

Edmunds.com confirms the 15.9 gallon capacity

http://www.edmunds.com/used/1990/toy...nav..6.Toyota*

So you can go a bit further, but you have to drive with the needle solidly on E and the low fuel warning light shining in your face, which most people won't be comfortable doing.

yeah, i love the 70L in gen3's, but the gas light comes on at 600ish hwy 17 110km/h cruise and i can usually stretch it to 650, but i wouldn't go much past that without a jerry can full of gas in the trunk

I think it might hold about 300 or so gallons.

Course you would have to make sure the windows are rolled up and the doors sealed.
