SV21 Brake Upgrade

Hey guys,

just planning to upgrade my sv21 camry with the 278mm DBA rotors designed for an ST185 celica with ST185 calipers.

I am also getting 15" rims so that the new calipers will fit.

Can anyone point out any potential problems or reasons not to go ahead with the upgrade?

Thanks

Go get the rear V6 brakes too - a nice upgrade to disks. While you are at the junkyard, grab the proportioning valve also to make sure that things stay safe. Overall stopping distance with the 4-wheel disks won't be much better, but you get much better feel.

I'd also look into getting stainless steel braided brake lines. Technafit in the US makes some, but you might be able to find a local company too.

So technically a big brake kit for a Celica St185 would work for the SV21 given the right parts
