hello, Im new, just 1 question...

I have a 1990 camry, and recently I went over a curb, since then whenever I turn either to the left or right, there is a rubbing sound which seems to be coming from the under carriage. When i turn to the right it seems to rub more. It has gotten progressively worse. What could be the cause?

Have you gotten under your car and checked things out to make sure there isn't anything obvious?

Go have somebody look at it for you...get that thing on a lift so you can see what is bent or broken. I would try an oil change shop, see if those guys wanna look at it (for free) if they're bored/dead at the moment.

Muffler/Suspension shops usually check it for free as well. I can't think of anything that would be broken but still allow the car to operate normally...

There is a metal cooling vane on each side (about 1.5" wide and 6" long connected inboard of the brakes) that directs air flow over the brakes. If one of these were bent it could cause that kind of noise.

Less likely, there is a semi-circular piece of metal that holds part of the longer axle in place. Mine came loose once and it made more of a clattering noise for quite a while until I figured it out. Might be that but it is a stretch.
