new rack & PS pump...fluid??

So I have a new rack on a '90 Lexus ES250 and PS pump....so ideas on the best way to charge the system w/ fluid w/o getting air in the system would be hugely appreciated.

Air is unavoidable. Just fill it after changing the parts, then turn the wheel back and forth from stop to stop a few times. Top off the fluid, take it on a drive then check the level again. The new pump will be a little noisy at first till it gets broken in a little (typically about 100 miles or so).

This may be too late but remember to check what type of fluid to use. Camrys used ATF fluid not Power Steering Fluid... Don't know about Lexus.

Good point Kep....I believe the previous owner used power steering fluid on an already leaking system....all the seals were toast...thus my replacement of the entire system and thorough flushing.
