My new 3SGE from Attarco - Toyota Nation Forum : Toyota Car and Truck Forums

Has anyone had any issues with Attarco engines? Someone referred me to them and I checked their stock on eBay. I found a pretty cheap 1st gen 3SGE, which i need another one mine is going to hell. I found it for $421 w/shipping and 6 month warranty. I thought it was pretty cheap considering the warranty so I got it. Has anyone had any problems with them?

well no clue on the mileage, they did say low mileage between 40k-60k. They did a compression & leakdown test and the fact that it is Toyota and comes with a 6 month warranty with unlimited mileage put me at ease.

I haven't heard anything bad about Attarco. Hell I refer locals to them.

They have 2 locations in California, one of which is here (Sacramento).

I was looking at buying a 3S-FE from them, but ended up parting out the car instead.

P.S. Does the engine come as pictured? With the manifolds and alternator.

Yeah it comes with everything, but they said they only warranty the long block. After hearing all you guys input on their reputation, it doesn't sound like a bad deal though

Used JDM engines usually come as long blocks (block + head). Theres no accessories or manifolds.

Kewl that the engine your looking at comes with everything.

Warranty on just the long block is fine. That covers the engine (complete block + head).
