Boost

89 Yota 2.0 question


how difficult would it be to make a setup to run on low boost like 5lbs using parts from a turbo mx6, im only asking cuz i got a friend that has all the parts laying around....fo free basically. or is there another car that is more similar that this could be acheived from?

lol... mx6... Mazda? Nothing will bolt on. Try again.

MR2 turbo and Celica all-trac turbo parts are a better bet. The exhaust manifold and turbo bolt on to the 3s-fe motor. Try searching this site, and looking up turbo kits for the 5s-fe (Celica or Camry) to get an idea of what is required.

well what i meant by using parts. not the exhuast portion. that woudl all be custom. but turbo, piping, intercooler, all that stuff.

but the more i think about it, they run them really wierd.
