USA Accessing Under-Dash A/C parts on a 91 Camry.

Hello all,
My son's AC on his 91 Camry (converted to 134a) had stopped blowing cold air and after adding the UV detector we found a leak in the compressor (green dye between all of the seams of the compressor) so we have replaced that along with the receiver/drier. I didn't replace the expansion valve since it was burried under the dash (OK and we were lazy). We evacuared the system and recharged with UV detector again and it cools down great for the first day. Overnight it is empty, so there is a substantial leak somewhere, but we can't see it anywhere under the hood with the UV light, so I assume it is under the dash at the evaporator or the expansion valve (the only parts left). How do I get access to the evaporator? I assume the glove box and all of the surrounding small under dash plastic can be easily enough removed, but how mush of the dash itself will need to be disassenbled to get at it to do an exam and replace? I don't have any of the repair manuals and can't even find anything specific to the 91 Camryanymore since it is so old, just generic info.
Any help?
Thanks
Rick

There are Toyota factory service manuals stickied at the top of the General Camry Discussion forum available for free downloading. I suggest you go there and download the generation 2 Camry manual. It should have what you are looking for.

Here.

The only thing is that I've been having issues downloading the PDF files. Anybody else has issues?

Well, I was able to get the document. It said it was 56 pages long and there were 56 pages, but some of the pages were duplicates and the last page number in the document is 48, not 56, so it is missing the last 8 pages. I'll see if the pages I need are included.
Thanks for the help.
Rick

I don't think the dash needs to be removed to access the evaporator on this generation of Camry.

if it is empty overnite and its the evaporator the inside of the car will smell like glue with the windows rolled up, try this, put a little in it and spray it down with soapy water in a spray bottle, are any of the rubber lines shiny? that fast of a leak you might hear a hiss if its real quiet
