After trying to wire the corners into signals my city lights don't come on anymore. When i click the light switch onto the first click my corners and tail lights don't come on anymore. what happened?

signals still work though.

may be that's why it's broken.... that's like hooking your garden hose up to the fire hydrant it'll hold for awhile then it just blows

1. Cut the ground wire going to the corner light.

2. Tape off the end that goes to the car cos you don't need it anymore.

3. Splice the ground wire from the corner light to the +12V of the blinker. You'll need some short pieces of wire and some crimp connectors.

Make sure that you verify the wires with a DMM before you cut and splice.

Parking lights off = corner lights and blinkers blink at the same time

Parking lights on = corner lights and blinkers alternate

thanks pandacamry, I tried it and that wiring guide worked great, but i was wondering if i could just get rid of the under bumper flashers altogehter and just use the parking light bulb as the flasher/parking light. I want to put some high powered fogs in their place. I belive this is possible, but i'd rather ask before crimping and stripping wires on the car. thanks a lot, Jamie

Well i think if you removed the signal's wires anywhere after where you spliced the corners onto the power wire of the signal. The corners should still blink without the signals, and then you could remove the signal housing and put in some foglights.

thanks for the responce. i tried leaving the wiring as in and unplugging the turn signals, the corners stop flashing, i dont know if the wiring i did is in series or parallel, but if its paralell it needs the signals to be hooked up for it to work, i've been playing around with it but have yet to figure it out....

thanks, Jamie

2nd Generation

Does anyone have any ideas of how I can disconnect my under bumper flashers then take the wires and add them to the parking lights. I want to achieve ideally a parking light that stays on but flashes with the flashers. thanks.....
