USA 91 3SFE crankshaft pulley removal

I'm trying to remove the crankshaft pulley on a 91 3SFE engine. I removed the main bolt that holds it on and now I need to pull off the pulley. I have a harmonic balancer remover, but I don't know what bolt I should use to put in the 2 holes. Is it metric/standard/coarse/fine thread? Any ideas out there? Thanks in advance!!!!

Ok. Any idea on the bolt size? I'm not sure if I want to pry the thing off.

6mmx70mm, 1.25 pitch (I think). I am sure about the diameter and length, just not the pitch. But I'm almost positve it's 1.25. 6mmx60mm should work too. And grab a bunch of flat washers, and two fender washers (big O.D., small I.D.), so the bolts dont slip through the puller holes

What I did was took one of the timing cover bolts to the hardware store and matched up to that thread. worked like a charm. Spray some oil in the holes before installing.

I have the puller from harbor freight, and I just dealt with this yesterday.

Good luck!

the bolts that came with the puller state M8-1.25 x 80mm. So I'm guessing they are to big??

yeah the M8 part refers to the diameter, in this case 8mm.

You need an M6.(x60 or 70 mm).

i'd Just buy an assortment of any number of pairs of bolts that might be close from home depot.
