2nd Generation 91 3sFe A/C Blinking Light

My A/C kicks on, blows cool air then intermittently, the switch light will start flashing. Sometimes, I can recycle the switch and it works for awhile and sometimes it fails within seconds. After looking through this forum and looking at the manual, it looks like it is one of the 3, RPM Sensor, Drive Belt, and A/C Relay(?). I am leaning towards the RPM sensor. I called Toyota and they call the switch on the compressor a Compressor Sensor not an RPM sensor. Where is that RPM sensor located? I bought this car a year ago and I thought the compressor had just been replaced. Also, when my A/C is working, my cool air has always been greatly reduced at idle. Should I replace the sensor or the compressor? Toyota said a switch will come with a new compressor.

I had this same problem, but I fixed it by turning the little blue knob on the aircon line tighter,
should be over neer the battery and air filter and there will be a red knob also.

I'm not an aircon expert, so I don't actually know what the blue knob is for but I know it fixed my problem.

my parents camry had same issues. but theirs were a bad clutch. it did the blinking ac light as well. we replace with a used compressor from junk and it worked fine. no leaks, ice cold today. its been 6mths already.

Makes sense that it would be a bad clutch. My Celica does this when the belt slips (we've had lots of floods lately and it's missing the bonnet that goes down there).

Where's the RPM Sensor

Does anyone know where the compressor RPM sensor is? I am getting mixed messages from the parts guys trying to find a replacement compressor and don't want to replace my current one if I have to use the current RPM sensor.
