USA Replace Auto Belts w/ Shoulder Belts

Has anyone changed the seatbelt system in 2nd generation Camry's? My girlfriend inherited an 89 Camry with only 79,000 miles on it. She loves the car, except for the automatic belt system. I went to a junkyard one day at noticed that there are holes drilled and threaded to accept shoulder belts. Naturally, I would install a new shoulder belt system.

I believe the Canadian Camrys had traditional shoulder belts........try searching around the net, maybe a Canadian junkyard will ship you the belts.
I personally like the automatic seatbelts(working ones of course), to the cops it looks like Im wearing my belt even though the top one is the only one on(I hate lap belts, I feel so restricted)
