custom 2se engine rebuild!!??

I think it would be cool to custom rebuild a 2selc engine out of an 85 camry for my project.
my thoughts are to purchase a project engine out of a good condition camry . What I would do is then port and polish, the header, both intake and exhaust manifolds, get the valves re-laped and put in higher cc fuel injectors, then possibly nitrous.
I would customize the intake also for cold air, which ive already started.
For the exhaust I would get a custom header and downpipe built to increase the diameter of the exhaust system, maybe around 2.75", I would do the rest of the exhaust myself.
then I would get the ECU modified to accept these changes.

What do you think? am I crazy, but these engines last forever when stock OEM, why not do a bit of modifying.

heres my project car, http://www.cardomain.com/id/rockhard01 feel free to rate it
Im working on a custom suspension right now

O_O...

Looks like he got the JDM version of the front (grill, headlights, parking) and the rear JDM. Looks like it was a swap and fit on the US Camry.

Dang, thats one of the first I've seen around - looks quite tasteful.

Oh man looking at that makes me want to turbo my camry now! that camry is mint too.!!
I wonder what type of turbo that is that he's got in there, and how difficult it was to get the exhaust manifold done.
