3SGTE engine swap

hey all

i have a camry sv20 1.8l and i would like to put the mr2 turbo engine 3sgte in to my camry has anyone done this conversion with a 88 sv20 camry if so what parts did you use and did you convert to awd instead of fwd

2nd Generation

Search this topic, it has been discussed many many times. First and foremost you need a lot of tools, time and money. although these swaps were done in SV21's.... dont know how dramatically different the 2 models are...

It will probably be a big headache with the carb'ed 1.8L motor as a starting point, but it is probably still do-able. Get ready to spend a lot of money and a lot of time (including a bunch of wiring).
