2nd Generation 91 camry Auto To manual swap

Alright guy's I'm pulling out my hair, i have a 91 Camry LE with a auto trans that broke, i bought a used 88 Camry 5spd donor car for the swap but i ran into a snag the tranny mounts from the auto to the manual are different, by this i mean the little plates that the acual mounts bolt to. On the manual trans the plate that the left mount bolts to is different from the auto and the donor car had the trany sitting in the trunk with the correct plate missing. i called Toyota to find that it is discontinued, and every wreaking yard in the area laughing at me i need the plate for the left mount and plat on the firewall side to. I'm at a stand still and freaking out its my only car.

Now i know that i'm not the only person to do this. Is there write up for the swap with the 4 cylinder engine I have read the v6 version "not entirely helpful but did give me some insight.

www.rockauto.com list both 91 manual and auto mounts for a 4 cylinder. If they list it, an autopart store should also be able to order it.

Go to a self-service yard and pull the part you need... shouldn't be much of a problem?

You may need to swap manifolds (or just the throttle body), but otherwise it should work just fine. If you go to a pick-n-pull junkyard, grab the reverse light switch harness on the transmission to in case the plug is different between the manual and auto trannies.
