Need opinions on rebuild power steering pump
I have a 91 Camry LE with 190k miles on it. I have been having a problem with a power steering fluid leak for some months. Today, I isolated it to the pump. From my examination, the leak appears to be coming from the place where the suction port union attaches to the pump body. From my shop manual, there appears to be an o-ring located just within the pump at this location. While this may be the problem, I am not sure.
In considering my options, I looked into rebuilt ps pumps. They have them at my local AutoZone and O'Reilley's for about $100. I'd like opinions on these products and if other options are better. Thanks.
