gen2 springs, gen1 car

will gen2 lowering springs (i.e. Intrax, B+G, etc) fit on a gen1 car? any difference? if not, where can i buy stiffer and/or lower then OEM springs for a gen1?

2nd Generation

I do not believe that the springs will fit. I am pretty sure that the springs for the 2g are wider than the 1g. However, Eibach will do custom springs if you give them the dimensions that you want. You will have to pull your spring off and measure it up or find the OEM spring measurements online. Then just account for the drop in the measurements that you send them. It will take a little work but it can be done. Other companies will probably do custom springs but I don't know who. I just know that Eibach does them. Hope this helps.
