91 Camry door speakers?

Can I add speakers in the front doors on my Camry 1991?

the guy at best buy told me that I could, but I don't know how they could do this lol!

any idea if it's possible?

The door frame is not a solid metal panel but has cutouts; a speaker could be mounted in a cutout with brackets and a front speaker panel installed. Or a hole could be cut in the door frame or the frame may already have a speaker cutout (but speaker not installed). The wires are run through the same location as the door lock and power windows.

If you have someone do this and they need to cut the door frame make sure they don’t butcher the job.

I find it ends up looking trashy, most of the interior trim options on the gen 2 camry didnt fit speakers, there is a pocket dump in their place.

Has anybody ever looked to see if the es250 (which has tweeters in the door panels if I remember correctly) or the cresssida (5.25" speakers in doors) will fit with modifications??? (door lock is next to the handle on both these cars)

I gotta remember to try this next time at the U pick...but if anyone has done so already, please inform.
