New user, new car, new problem

ok so i got a pretty good deal on this 1990 camry, anyways it had the stock tape player in it and im a stereo kinda guy, anyways i installed my kenwood deck into it, used my ohms tester to test out the wires. deck works great but since i hooked it up my headlights or marker lights wont turn on. the head light switch does nothing now. id ont get it i checked all the fuses found one burnt, it was the tail light one i replaced it, same problem. i checked the fuseable links. all good. i did hook the switched power to my memory wire on my deck, but as soon as my deck didnt turn on i found the problem quickly. wondering what the hell is wrong? it sucks not being able to drive at night. what is the two brackets on the stereo? one has all the speaker wires and pwer wire. the other? thanx for any response

The stereo wiring and headlight wiring appear to have nothing in common. Did you splice into any wires other then those on the wiring harness (2 plugs). Each headlight may have a separate fuse or circuit breaker. Power to the headlights comes through the headlight relay and a fusible link.

The wiring breakout for the two stereo plugs can be found at: www.installdr.com
