What else should I buy? LOL

Wow I just dropped $400 in parts for the Camry in one 5 minute sitting... I only bought the car for $800! BTW, I really love www.RockAuto.com!

This is what I got:

* 2 twist motor mounts (Anchor brand name) for around $17 each! Parts stores: $40 each for same exact brand/model!

* 1 new CarDone 665022 drivers side CV joint: $53. Parts stores: $89!

* 2 Monroe Sensatrac front struts: $61 each. Parts stores:$70+ (ehh not much of a deal on these, but I get a $40 rebate from Monroe!)

* 2 Spicer front strut mounts (# 5201129) w/ bearings: $54 each. Parts stores: ~$80 each

... I also got a cam seal, a valve cover gasket set, and rear sway bar bushings. Now I just need to get some front sway bar bushings for the LCA and body mounts.

Do I need strut bellows for the Sensatracs or do they come with them?
Sorry, I just needed to tell somebody what I just did, I dunno if I overspent on this car based on how much I paid for it. It's still slow as hell and I don't even know if it has good compression or what--but it's reallllly slow and I aint happy with that.

You may want to get your basic tuneup parts, K&N filter, oil change stuff, etc. Get some sea foam too . Good stuff!

Hey, do I even really need the front strut mounts??? The rubber on my strut mounts look perfect without any cracking -- is that how I tell if they are good or not? I don't have any creaking or groaning noises when turning so I believe my strut bearings are good still.

What do you think? If they're not neccessary then I can save myself $105 bucks!

BTW, seafoam is already ready to go in!

if your strut mounts are bad when you raise the car up and the strut falls out, its bad, get the motor running right first

HAHA...easy enough! I guess my strut mounts are not bad.

My motor is running fine and everything, it's just that it lacks power...It doesn't smoke or buck or stall or anything...it idles just right, revs freely and sounds fine--but the power is just kinda lethargic. I'm thinking maybe the catalytic converter or the O2 sensor is getting old, or both.

Thanks for the help
