Good looking install. I'm not a fan of the Xplod stuff, but the amp is sweeeeeeeeeet. Love that Alpine. I'll have pics of my system up as soon as I wash up the beast. I like how you kept it consistent with all xplod speakers, etc. I did the rear door speakers and rear deck speakers too, but I went with 2 12s in the trunk.

camryfour: the light cover broke wen the tinting ppls pulled it off, they know nothing NOTHING. lol in the process of gettin 1.

bodar: u rite about tht. nxt im gettin all out soundstream probs, full chrome amps twin 12s or 1 15 dvd deck THE WORKS

1883atlantics: xplod stuff is only temaparary while i finish skwl and get a job, it still pumps pretty good for cheapish gear. my m8 worx at a car audio shop and he declared the sub, box and amp "broken" so he chucked it in the trash, for me to go by l8r and grab. screw m8s rates, its FREE lol. he dusnt work thr no more tho, he quit .

thnx 4 the comments ppls, we need to make a car audio sticky! mods...

How did you manage to get those 6x9's to fit in the back? I have 2 decent JVC 6x9's and I couldn't get them to fit.

You can either break-out the Sawzall and cut larger apertures in the rear deck, or you can build cusotm plywood mounts for the 6x9's.

That's a nice setup. I'll try to clean-up my system (Alpine V12 amp, two no-name Lanzar 10" subs in a bandpass tub--believe me, they really do the trick) and I'll get some pics soon, maybe we can make this an audio pic sticky...

Thanks! I'm going to be doing a whole bunch of work on my car ('90 LE) when I get out of school and it warms up a bit. I plan to replace both front fenders, as they are very rusty, fix the surface rust on the back wheel wells, and fix several other small spots of rust. I may as well do the speakers while I'm at it!
