2nd Generation 100.00

Yep, another camry 3sfe auto 89, the outside is nearly flawless all but a dent on the rr quarter up high but its had hogs living inside and almost 300k miles, it runs and drives and all but i was wondering if it would be a better game plan to use this body and drop my v6 5 speed powertrain into it from its rusty body its in now and just build up this car with all the spotless interior parts i have collected or derust the body the v6 is in now and use body panels from this car and get it going that way, what ever way i go the car will need paint and everything inside

Mechanical work isn't easy, but bodywork is even less so - its hard. I'll put it another way, bodywork is not easy to do, and pretty hard to do right. If you want my two cents, i'd swap the good engine into the good body and have one decent car. And junk the rest of it.

Yep, body work sucks...you have to weld, or don't bother (god I hate bondo).

Just remember: that V6 isn't just going to drop in there. The mounts are all off, you'll have to cut and reweld them. I considered doing the same thing and ended-up tackling the body work on the V6 to avoid the hassle of slapping it in the I4.
