Check your brake fluid level. You probably need to top it off. As your brakes wear they become thinner. The fluid in the reservoir is needed to press them in that extra amount and the fluid sensor is activated. Usually, it is just the brakes wearing normally. However, do keep an eye out for leaking hoses, cylinders and the like if the light comes back on soon after you top it off. Also, you need to check your brake pads to see if they need to be replaced.
