Question Wiring/Start Problem

OK the oddest thing to ever happen to me. So it all started with my power windows, seat belt driver side wouldn't retrace and driver side control box switch going out and figured it was the wiring going bad, where the door and car body meets in that groove. But thats after the fact from stupid me, thinking it was a fuse or wiring issue by the kick panel fuse box, because I was seeing water coming down some of the wires. So I took the fuse box out to check for corrosion on any of the wires the front side and the back side and checked for any blow fuses, nothing of the sort was there. So I put all the wires back on to the fuse box minus the wiring to the door because that needs to get replaced. I was going to go to U pull it and when I went to start the car nothing happened no clicks nothing. All I get is the the key is in the ignition sound. Also get the green key light illuminating but when I take the key out the green light should fade out but it stayed on. Also when the key goes into On position the clock comes on the seat belt on passenger side comes up, I can get the front and back lights on and turn signals but don't get high beams or windshield wipers or dash[gauge] light. I go to start the car the clock dimes out the vent fan stops working, its as if all the power goes away. I bring out of start everything comes back up. I had the battery checked and starter both came up working great also replaced the clutch relay where you have to press the clutch in start the car. Please Help Me. Its a 1988 toyota camry All Trac LE

The ignition sound (I think you mean the alarm that sounds when the key is left in and the door is open) and the green light at the key are both activated by an open door switch. Since you didn't rewire the door wires it probably "thinks" the door is open. As for its not starting my first suspicion is that you inadvertanly wired something wrong or that you may have removed an important wire thinking it was a door wire. I'm sure that you've done it but go over your hook ups again (maybe you put them back in a mirror image since the box was flipped over to work the wires?). I believe that there are a couple of relays in the vicinity that aren't in the box itself. Might any of those have been accidently disconected? It's a pain but sometimes starting over is helpful. Disconnect everything like you did before and reinstall it again. This time I'd include the door wires, even though they're bad.
