Rear KYB's for AllTrac!

Hello all, KYB struts from the UK market are available through the shop that did my engine swap. They are pretty spendy though... 195 each (with UK taxes) plus about $60-65 each shipping. (Makes these way more than OE!)

A little background on KYB... They have at least 4 different markets, each with its own production and distribution. So this makes each market unique. The European market numbers are not even recognised in other markets like the US or Australia for example. And KYB in these other markets will not source parts from another market unless it is an extremely large order, (around 1000 units minimum).
Also because the markets have their own production, it is hard to say what the UK struts would be comparable to in the US. The UK market has three lines, "Premium", "Excel-G", and "Gas A-Just". The US market has the gas-a-just but not the others. We were told by KYB of UK that the Excel-G (which is the only line for the rear of the all-trac) would be a little more stout than the GR-2s of the US market --- Even though some of the US market GR-2s are called Excel-G's.

So anyway, the shop that did my swap is in negotiation for a larger buy of these struts, and anyone who is interested should call them at 800.995.9032 or email j_jamerson@dikperformance.com. Currently there is not estimate for a reduced cost or what number of pairs it would require. But based on estimates of previous orders... up to 10 pairs may save about 12-15% overall (incl shipping costs). and who knows how much more may be saved with more than 10 sets.

Since UK is like 10 hours ahead or something, we wont get an answer back until tomorrow, but ill keep my fingers crossed.
