Need answer

I am nigel from jamaica . I have a 1990 toyota camry LHD automatic transmition and i am converting to a five speed manual . can the RHD pedal assembly work on the LHD.

Actually, my friend is living in Japan, and I seem to remember him saying that the pedal assemblies were the same (and the shifting linkages are the same orientation, etc). I know for sure that the pedal order is the same: gas on right, brake in the middle, clutch on the left.

If you can, post some pics of the RHD pedal assemblies--especially the clutch. Atobe and I both have experience working with the assemblies from LHD Camrys, we might be able to tell from pics if there are differences.

Set up an account with www.photobucket.com (or another hosting site) and upload the pics to there from your camera/computer.
