no, its front wheel. you can tell by going under the car and looking, if there is no drive shaft going to the rear. then its front. i thought it might be an all-trac. but correct me if im wrong, those only came in i4.
one more way you could check is.. do a burnout and have a friend tell you which tires spin

The all-trac did come in a V6.

Um, either you're smoking funny stuff, or I am...the Gen2 Camry All-Trac never came in a V6 configuration. Someone may have created such a monster (in which case I need the directions so I can do likewise), but the factory never produced it, even for JDM sales.
Where are you getting your information? Are you referring to another V6 model other than Camry?

At one time, I thought I saw a picture of one from someplace like Norway. But there are definitely no factory produced ones, that I know of, in the US.
edit: Here is a posting I found in the archives...

Camry Alltrack or just 4WD as they are called i Norway, was very popular
but i quite rare, only 600 of them where sold here. 50 of them with the V6
Engine, all with lockable diffs, A/C, sports seats, electric windows and mirrors,
heated seats, green tinted windows and those special headrests you see in the pics.
I was going to buy the one on the pictures but i was sold allmost before the ad came out

Holy crap, I have some research to do...this must be what it would feel like to find the Holy Grail! (sorry if I offend anyone who is more religious/devout than me)

Just build it. Find an AWD manual Camry, put a 2vz or 3vz in there. You will have to clearance the block a bit on the back, and do a bunch of wiring, but everything else in plug-n-play (yes, even the clutch!). There is a 3vz-fe Alltrac Celica running around on the east coast somewhere, and the Camry is pretty much the same.
