The All-Tracs (base or LE) came with 5-speed optional until 1991, when they were only offered with auto.

I never had seen an All-Trac in Hawaii yet...I Wonder if there was even one. If I remember correctly, It was only available in areas where snow was an issue.
I wouldn't mind importing one when I have the money, but tranny parts would be a pain to get.
The folks at www.rockauto.com ship to Hawaii, and they carry All-Trac parts.

The Camry Alltrac uses the same drivetrain as a Celica ST165, you can even use the tranny from the ST185/ST205 etc. So i dont think you would have a problem with the drivetrain parts if those models are available in Hawaii.
91 w/ early model tailights... shouldnt it be the later model tailights? cant see the front end but seems like the early model front end as well... HMM>>>!?

That's because it's an '88? It has the pre-'89 3-piece bumpers and pre-'91 tail lights. Also, it is a 5-speed LE alltrac which was (to the best of my knowledge) only available in '87 and '88. From then on, the alltrac 5-speed was only available in the DX trim.
