1986 HB Build Thread

I thought I should make a thread to put all my stuff together instead of spreading out across the e-universe. I've accumulated all the parts is just a matter of assembly. Just for reference, I have already built a 1991 Turbo Tercel, which is my "summer car". I bought the Camry for the winter, but , now, it to is going "under the knife".

What Im wanting to do here is use the SAFC to monitor the MAF reading so I can see when I top it out.

* 5SFE Engine and trans. (from 1991 Celica GT-S)
* Manual trans stuff from Celica for conversion (shifter, pedals ext)
* 3SFE Distributor (vac advance)
* 2SE Sensors, harness and ECU (STOCK)
* Larger MAF and coresponding Injectors (Im thinking stock 3SGE stuff)
* Bastardized 3SGTE manifold
* SAAB T3
* Volvo 740 FMIC
* Some kind of digital boost gauge to try to match the digitronic cluster

The engine and trans are also being raised 3" along with the strut tops in the front. Im also going to make a flat "K Frame" to replace the stock one that hangs WAY down. in the rear Il be using 1988 Corolla front struts (aprox 3" shorter) with the Camry attachment points welded on. All said and done with the coilovers, the relocated strut mounts, and 185/60R13 tires (on LE Alloys), should give me about 1" - 3/4" between my rockers and the ground....... almost undrivable.

***STAY TUNED FOR UPDATES***
