2nd Generation Ported Vacuum Switch which one???

I looked under the hood today and found that the rubber hoses that are connected to my ported vaccum switch had broken off since its been soo long and the plastic around the P.V.S had cracked off. I was just wondering if anybody knows which part number the P.V.S is for the 91 V6. not sure if its number 90925-05017 or 90925-05068. And does anyone know how important it is to have these fully connected? Cause their like 60 bucks a pop and I need to replace 2 of them. Thanks in advanced.

This valve is used to purge the charcoal canister. As coolant temp goes above 130degreees F the valve opens and the engine vacuum pulls the stored vapors from the canister.
You may use the normally closed blue colored valve (from the junk yard) from 81 to 87 Cressida or Supra (NOT FROM 87-90 CARBURATED TERCEL as it normally OPEN) It looks a little different but will work.
YOU CAN GET MORE INFO ABOUT THIS PART FROM www.ThePartsBin.com by using the first part number in part number search.
Prior to the installation make sure it opens when heated and stays closed when cold.
