Ok so i have a 88 camry, i have had it for a little over a year and a half, i like to drive fast and want to be the fastest on the road. My 4cyl camry is not cutting it, i contimplated on selling it and getting a newer car like a subaru sti or something but then thought y not be different?? now i am looking into fixing it up and i mean the works! (especially the engine). i want it to look pretty, shine, sound good, handle like a sports car and have it to where it stings like a bee, i would like to be that person who no one expects could have a camry that whips a sti. i have no clue where to start, i have no connections and dont know where to look for these suped up parts for my car, a possible swap would be great! but it haas to be fast lol so if anyone can help me find a site to where i could possibly get full satisfaction please and i mean PLEASE e-mail me.

So... are you ready to spend $10k+ on your Camry?

If so, you can build one like you describe (only if you start with one in good shape!). It is a hard road to travel and you will have to do all the work yourself if you want to turn out to your standards... But it can be done - I've built a fast FWD Camry (keeps up with or just beats a stock STi from a roll) next is moving those parts over to an AWD Camry... (see my sig)
