oil leak

i was motivated today to do alittle worlk on the 91 with a 2.0/auto...it has a steady drip oil leak when its running[wasting alot of oil]...i changed out the valve cover gasket because i would of sworn that was where it was leaking[rear of engine all the way down is a Valdez disaster...wrong guess...i jacked it up,took off the pass side wheel and inspection cover...i guess its either the oil pump or crank seal because its a steady drip drip drip from that lower rear edge??? the repair manual says the engine mount has to be removed to do the timing belt..is that true in all cases??does the oil pump on the 2.0 have a seal??

It appears the mount needs to be removed to access the upper timing belt cover. The oil pump does have a seal on the drive shaft also pickup the O-ring seal that goes between the oil pump and pump case.

Make sure the pump gears are aligned with the dot facing each other.
