Fuel pump quit

1986 camry fuel pump doesn't seem to be working. I have on idea where the fuel pump relay may be? I checked all the fuses and they are fine. Anyone help me out here? Thanx

Most of the relays will be with the fuses under the hood in the fuse box. flip the lid of the fuse box over and on the inside it shold tell you what each one of the different components control. sometimes the a/c relay and the fuel pump relay are the same. if that is the case then just switch them and by process of elimination you will not have a/c - does that make sense?

On the U.S. Camrys made after may 86 test the fuel pump as follows:
Locate the diagnostic box next to the the driver side strut tower
Open the cover of the box
Insert paper clip to short the Fp and B+ terminals
Turn ignition on
If you hear the hissing, the gas pump is running
If not the pump is defective.

If you turn your ignition on and remove the top of the air cleaner and push your finger against the air door in the mass air flow meter, you should hear the fuel pump turn on. That way, you know the fuel pump switch is working in your mass air flow meter. Normally, that switch is activated when air moves past the door as you crank your engine.
