1990 Camry instrument lights

I'm down to one light in my instrument panel and I can't find the replacement bulbs anywhere. Can I order the LED's from http://www.superbrightleds.com and just swap them with the light bulb and re-use the base, or would I need to find a replacement base as well?

If you are looking for stock light bulbs, try the dealer.

I would likie to replace the stock lights with LEDs, but I'm not sure if I can just swap them with the bulbs that are already in there. If not, I guess I'll try the dealer for bulbs.

you mean the guage cluster ? they take 194/168 bulbs....led might not work since they tend to be spotty instead of spreading out like regular bulbs.

I found LEDs specifically for in car dashes. The bulbs for my car had a grey socket on them that twists into behind the gauges. I was wondering if I would need sockets for the LEDs or if the old bulbs are removeable from the sockets so I can reuse them.

well i know for a fact that my bulbs are stuck into a holder and you can remove it to replace the bulb... but i also heard from some other people in the other thread that they couldn't remove the bulb and it was 1 piece.. so might want to check yours first.

The bulb for spedo/ tach illumination is 168 with green transparent pvc "finger cot" on it You may use the stock 168 light bulb but you can paint it green same way as X-mas tree lights.

Oh, that's good. I'll go pick a few up and see if I can put them in the sockets.

I finally have every light working in my dash! It turns out that the bulbs do pop out of the socket, so I just replaced them with 168's from Canadian Tire. I also coloured the bulbs red with a sharpie and they look great!
