1st & 2nd Generation (1983–1986 & 1987-1991)Toyota Camry Discussion for years: 1983-1986 & 1987-1991.
Topics of discussion range from fuel economy, safety, modifications, performance all involving America's favorite family car, the Toyota Camry.
I don't think I've seen a gen2 with such low mileage in at least ten years. It must've been under a rock or something. All that clean, rust-free metal makes me all swooney...
For those of you working in the ever-popular and obsolete Imperial, that's 49,000 original miles. It's just unreal.

Honda my A$$, you just can't kill a Yota...
Heh heh, definitely a possibility. But you usually don't see dealerships pulling these stunts on older cars...not enough to gain. Curb-siders are the usual suspects for cars like these.

Believe it or not, these things happen. Especially with older people, for whom a car is just a car. I know folks (in their 70's) who spend a lot of money every year to have a car in the garage JUST IN CASE...they almost never drive them.

I found a totalled '90 LE in the junkyard once with 56K miles on it...got the cluster to prove it but I just don't remember where I put it
You might just wanna eBay that guage cluster. Only 56K miles, lots of curbsiders would die to get their hands on it!

Guess agian, theres lots to be gained with low K old ass Toyotas.
When I was selling my '96 It had 112K on it. I put in on craigslist and Kijiji on monday night and I had no less then 20 calls about it before tuesday afternoon. It sold that day.
If it was the same car with 300+ K I doubt I would have received anywhere near as much interest. In fact Il prove it in a few weeks since I just bought a high milage 96 Corolla DX.
