Unhappy Crank Balancer bolt stripped

Ok,, I took one week and dismantled my 3sfe, in frame. that will be the last time I do an inframe on that engine, the front of the engine no room to work. Anyway my question is this, the balancer bolt, Crank, is stripped, not by me but by someone prior. I rebuilt the top end and all is great, but now the front seal is leaking. the flats of the bolt are rounded and I don't have a clue. Easy out's to me would seem to weak for a bolt with that much torque on it. Any help anyone? again remember the engine is still in frame

Most of the techniques I use won't work on the bolt due to the torque on it. I would search for someone with a welder that can get a nut welded onto the rounded bolt and you can zip it off with a big angry impact gun.

Unless the bolt head is completely rounded off try to find torque plus 3/4 inch socket and use impact gun.
On 84 Cressida the bolt head broke off due to the excessive torque, but the broken bolt portion was easy to retrieve as the torque builds up between th buttom of the bolt head and the pulley, not between the bolt and crankshaft threads (unless the bolt is crossthreaded or loctite is used).

if nothing else, grind the head completely off and back the shaft out, or use a big drill bit and drill it off
