2nd Generation wheel question??

I have a 2g camry with 195/60R/15 inch wheels but, before I put my other wheels on, I would like to know if these will rub or will they be ok? The wheels I want to put on are 215/45R/17 with a +42 offset?? Any help would be appreciated

Average offset is +35, with the max being +40 (depending on design).

I know that they will fit 1991 camrys and I contacted the company and he said it will also fit on a 1990 camry LE but, I just wanted to know if it actually would. Are those specs also for a 90 camry LE?? Sorry, I should have said what year I had

With the 215 tires on there, you should be fine. It will be close to the strut, but you should have no rubbing issues (except in the front at full-lock turning).

You only need a couple milimeters. If you have any rubbing problems get thin (3 or 5mm) spacers.
