Cleaning out intake manafold

I am STILL putting the camry back together. the head is on the cams are on the pan is on, anyway my next step was going to be installing the intake throttlebody but I noticed the back of the butterfly valve had black grime on it. I looked inside the manifold and it was like the inside of a chimney. its already installed on block and fuel rail is installed. is there a way to clean it without taking it off the block ?

Even if you clean it for now, the soot from EGR valve will deposit itself on the manifold walls.
Unless the deposits are really tar-like you may just clean the throtle plate.

My EGR was almost closed with soot. I will clean the TB and deal with it.
