Best Brand of Spark Plug Wires

Hey Guys-

Is there any preference when it comes to wires?
I called the dealer- 90.00. I asked him who makes them and he said of course toyota. I asked him does denso make it. He wasn't sure, but he thought they did. rock auto has denso for around 45.00.

Are there any better wires out there?

thanks!

.....its strange how Toyota molded the wires and cap as one piece on the 3S-FE.

Autolite wires are terrible. After 3 years on my 88 Camry, it was shot. I replaced them with new wires from the dealer and I think that's about how much I paid also.

On my older Toyotas, I noticed Yazaki was the OEM supplier of spark plug wires. They were good quality wires.

I expect Denso to be everybit as good.

Sparkplugs.com have Denso wires also for about the same price.

Thanks guys-

Mine were running just fine until-

peter cottontail decided to hop up and chew through 3 and 4 to make room for a nap. Imagine my suprise when I woke him up to check the oil.

Time to clean out the garage and make room for my temporary driving solution. (bought in 02 as a short term solution!) Tanks baby. Tanks!

1989 camry 265,000 and cruising strong.

I don't know if Niehoff is even distributed in the US, but they're good wires/caps. I've been running a set on my 2VZ-FE for around three years now (over 150,000km on them now) and they're still running strong.

However, if you can get Denso for $45 shipped from rockauto, go for it. A Denso part is always a good investment.
