hey guys, i havent posted on here in a while. my goal is i want a suspension package that I can effectively lower the car (evened out) to where there is no fender gap in the front or the rear, if the rear tucks a bit thats ok, im just not happy with my intrax springs at all because it sits higher in the rear. This has been asked a lot but does anyone have the links for seperate front and rear celica coilovers? Thanks a bunch..OR I would be willing to cut some stock springs with aftermarket drop shocks (which brand would work?)
^ wait so gen2 camry's suspension is compatible w/ the 6th gen celica's? even all-tracs?
Yeah, 4th, 5th and 6th gen Celica suspension ('87-'98) is very similar to the gen2 Camry. Alltrac Celica stuff matches up with Alltrac Camry stuff. Alltrac and non-alltrac fronts are similar, but the rear is very different.
This is not to say stock stuff is completely compatible, the spring rates and stuff are different, and some mounting points don't match up (swaybars, brake lines, etc).

what do i need to mod on the camry's suspension for the celica suspension parts to fit?
It depends on whether you want it to 'fit' or actually work well. There is a lot to getting suspension right. There are a few companies that make springs and struts exactly for the gen2 Camry, and unless you really want to go low or something, they work just fine.
I'd stay away from custom fitting parts unless you really know what you are doing. (but yes, I will be putting some Celica Alltrac parts on my Alltrac Camry...)

well, i kind of do want to go pretty low so i was wondering if 6th gen celica ebay coil springs would fit and work fine.

This question doesn't really have anything to do with lowering but rather raising a camry. I didn't think I should start a whole new thread.
Does anyone know what it takes to raise one maybe 2 inches or so. I thought about going the speed route with my all-trac but it's just not in good enough shape.
I'm starting to get into the outdoors so i would like my all-trac to be able to get around a little better. I understand this may be difficult since the car has a unibody and independent suspension, but just curious if anyone know's how.

^ my plan with the camry was to do the whole bosuzoku style, but not too extreme.
just a nice slam on sportmax 002's.
