Australia SV21 Engine Mounts

Hey guys,
I remember reading some years ago (before I bought my Camry) that when the engine mount on the front of the engine wears out it can cause problems with your exhaust, ie. breaking it. I can't remember specific detail of this, but ever since I bought mine in Sept. 2006 the exhaust has gradually been getting worse with rattles.
I have replaced the exhaust with a 2.5" with resonator from the cat back and this made absolutely no difference. (to the rattling that is) I have also completely removed all heat shields off of the header.
The engine mount seems to be worn a fair bit, I can insert my finger into it.
Just wondering if anybody else has these problems and if it is the engine mount, because I'm not going to fix the exhaust if it's just going to happen again.
Just wondering if anybody else has had this problem and if it is the engine mount, how costly are they to replace?

Here are a couple of photos.

Engine bay - I had the airbox off because I was halfway through changing the fuel filter.

Replace it, they cost me about 35 USD a piece for the front and rear mounts. The front mount is really simple to change out while the rear may be a challenge.
