'97 Camry? You're looking for the 3rd/4th Gen section, but I'll answer your question anyways

Just get a phillips screw driver, and take out the screws that hold the cluster bezel in place. I think theres a couple of screws on top and clips on the bottom you'll have to snap out. After that you should have access to the 4 screws that hold the cluster in place. Remove those screws, pull the cluster out some, disconnect the connectors in the back, and pull the cluster out. Now replace that bulb.

Feel free to correct my instructions. It's been over a year since I did some work on my ex's 4th gen's gauge cluster. kthnxbye

You will need to remove the cluster finish panel. There are two screws on the upper part of the panel to take out. The panel has built-in plastic tabs on each upper right and left edge and four at the bottom. Pry the panel out gentle with a tape screwdriver or putty knife.

The combination meter may be held in place by four screws. Once out the bulbs on the rear of the panel. The bulb may be a Toyota only part so pick on up in advance.

I appreciate your response but what is the bezel cluster and what I'm talking about is the gear panel (park, reverse, neutral, drive etc.) bulb that is on the floor between the drivers seat and the pasenger's . Is this what you are referring to? Thanks again.
